Located just a few miles east of the Covenant, the Crosby is one of Rancho Santa Fe’s newest gated communities. Like its surrounding neighborhoods, it has much to offer!
Many of the Crosby’s homeowners appreciate the great privacy it offers. The community offers 24-hour gate guards and private parks with walking and hiking paths.
Bordering the western part of the community is the San Dieguito River Valley. Natural coastal sage scrub, riparian forest, and oak and eucalyptus woodlands make the Crosby more than an idyllic place to live.
Named after Bing Crosby, the charming community was once the American singer and actor’s place of warmth and sharing with friends and family. Rancho Santa Fe in fact gained popularity when Bing bought the historical Osuna Ranch in 1936. Like many others, he was originally inspired by Rancho Santa Fe’s rich history and vision of architecture by Rancho Santa Fe’s lead architect Lillian Rice.
Nowadays, The Crosby Club is the centerpiece of the community, located in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. Designed by the skilled Oz Architects of Scottsdale, Arizona, the Clubhouse offers incredible views of the course and its surrounding hills. The first-rate amenities, however, are the real focal point of the club.
The Crosby Sports Center houses a tennis garden with a sunken stadium court containing four tennis courts in total. The center offers private and group tennis lessons along with league team play. From beginners to expert players, anyone can join in on a fun game of tennis.
No Rancho Santa Fe Club is complete without a beautiful golf-course. Members of the golf club enjoy a meticulously designed 18-hole course, a golf clubhouse, and golf practice facilities. Elevation changes make for a picturesque experience.
If you’re not a fan of tennis, the center also offers group exercise classes taught by certified instructors in Spin, Mat Pilates, Gyrokinesis, Yoga, Core Fusion, and more!
Swimmers of all skill levels enjoy a 25 yard junior-Olympic sized swimming pool heated to a comfortable 81 degrees all year round.
Kids are welcome, too! Junior members may participate in the Road to Kidtopia Camp Program. The program offers a variety of fun activities, along with instruction in golf, tennis and swimming.
If all of these amenities sound ideal to you, you’re in luck. The Crosby neighborhood has some beautiful homes for sale.
In total, the community offers 443 residences, including villas, semi-custom homes and custom homesites, surrounded by the private golf course and club.
