Rancho Santa Fe is known for its luxury real estate and beautiful landscapes, but perhaps a lesser known fact is the limited availability of land in the community. Nonetheless, in a recent press release, The San Diego office of Colliers International announced the last Crosby production lots in Rancho Santa Fe were sold. At a selling price of $6,270,098 for the whole eight acres, these lots are slated to join the proud ranks of the community and become home to the newest collection of Rancho Santa Fe luxury real estate.
The lots were purchased by Davidson Communities, who also owns Davidson Construction Company, with the intent to begin development soon. Established in 1978, Davidson Communities is one of the foremost residential and luxury real estate development companies in the western United States. To date, the company has completed over 40 residential projects and built nearly 5,000 homes across the US.
At the intersection of Bing Crosby Boulevard and Del Dios Highway, the new development is currently planned to boast 13 homes. The majority of the homes are expected to be anywhere from 3,314 square feet to 3,700 square feet, but one of the homes will be only 2,800 square feet. However, weighing in at 7,000 square feet per lot, these exceptional homes will certainly create long awaited opportunities to own one’s own slice of luxury real estate in the famous Rancho Santa Fe community.
Senior vice president of Colliers International, David Santistevan expects Davidson Communities’ development of The Crosby Enclave to be one of the final projects of any significance in the area. As mentioned above, land in the Rancho Santa Fe area is limited and running out quickly. It would appear that if one did desire to purchase their own slice of luxury real estate in the Rancho Santa Fe community, now is the time.
