18357 Calle Stellina Rancho Santa Fe CA 92067-Barry Estates

What do you love about your home?  There are several things.  The first time we walked through the custom front doors we fell in love with the old world elegant with rounded arches, sweeping grand entry and staircase.  The spacious nature of the home combined with an open, light, and airy 2 story layout was perfect for our family.  We really wanted our master to be on the main floor and preferred a spacious 2nd story children/teenager “loft” style layout.  Our children love their bonus room, oversized bedrooms and enjoy the spectacular private balcony views of the Bridges Hills.  The quiet, private, tranquil, park-like, back yard is a great counter balance to our vigorous work schedule.  The pool, spa, and waterfall perfectly complement our outdoor living space and the thoughtful layout allows us to relax or entertain and congregate as a family.

What do you like about the neighborhood?  There were several components that attracted us to the neighborhood.  In addition to the nearby fantastic restaurants, we were charmed by the historic “village” town center of Rancho Santa Fe just 5 minutes away.  Another key factor for us was having access to the highest area ranked, completely renovated Roger Rowe elementary school and top ranked high schools in beautiful Carmel Valley a short drive away.  We liked the friendly vibe of the exceptionally welcoming, warm, friendly, active Community Center in the village.  Being in a few miles affords us the best weather and if we want to see the ocean we are a quick 6 mile straight shot to gorgeous beaches of Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas.

What is your favorite local shopping?  There are fantastic local boutique shopping/eateries at Flower Hill outdoor mall which is a short drive away and is anchored by a brand new Whole Foods.  We also frequent the Del Mar Highlands shopping center and love catching a movie at the luxurious theater Cinepolis.

Tell me about your favorite local restaurant or place to dine?  We particularly enjoy the cuisine at The Bridges Country Club—and the location is fantastic!  Some of our other favorites are, Mille Fleurs, Delicias, The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, and Market just down the hill.
